It was clean, quiet, and bed was comfortable. Price was affordable. Office staff so very nice. Was an older place that was updated you could see daylight through the door . Must be how the cockroach got into the bed. Shower handle has mineral build up and my husband had to help me turn on. Bathroom door would not close. It has Dish TV refrigerator. Nice room lighting

I was on a long drive and I just needed to crash for the night. It was clean, cheap, and perfect for my needs. Rooms are basic and a bit rundown- but very clean and well maintained. Staff was very nice. For the money it is definitely worth it!
I always like to leave reviews for the cheaper hotels because I think they often get bad ratings from folks looking for a different experience. I'm just looking for an affordable place to stay that feels clean, safe and comfortable and the American Inn checked those boxes without a doubt. The guy at the front desk was nice and the price was great. The room was dated but large and clean- I'd rather pay less for a dated room than more for a newer set of furniture and a fresh coat of paint. The heater got my room toasty fast and I loved that the mini fridge had a real freezer with it's own door, not just a "colder" shelf at the top of the fridge. Shower stayed warm the whole time and the bed was comfy- I slept great. Thank you, American Inn for a nice rest for my gal and I after a long day of travel.

Something to spend the night, it’s a beautiful town
Had a truck breakdown and stayed here 2 nights. Microwave & fridge! Clean, comfortable, quiet, & very nice owner! No bugs were seen.
Good rest for a weary traveller! I stayed here 2/13/24, arrived at 8pm, rate was $59 for a room with a king size bed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is a no frills 2 star motel, but it was perfect for me after a long days drive. There's nothing fancy about this place and it's a bit dated, you get what you pay for, but it's adequate and I was very satisfied. My room included a mini-fridge and a 43" wall mounted HDTV with cable TV service.
